Timothy Boland – Transplant Research Project Manager

In November 2017, I joined as the part-time Transplant Research Project Manager, based in the Oxford Transplant Centre at the Churchill Hospital. My role supports Professor Rutger Ploeg in managing his portfolio of research projects in transplantation, including the Consortium on Organ Preservation In Europe (COPE) and the expansion of the QUOD biobank to collect heart, lung, and pancreas samples. I monitor budgets and manage logistics for the administration of these projects.

Prior to arriving in Oxford in 2016, I worked in Vancouver, BC as the manager of the fundraising team for a private graduate school. My previous experience includes project management in multiple areas of academic administration, including admissions, communications, and data management.
