Regional Operational Coordinators

A regional team exists in each of the 8 QUOD partner centres, led by a Principal Investigator, and includes a Regional Operational Coordinator (ROC), retrieval team members and a lead SNOD. The ROC is a health-care professional based at the designated QUOD centre.

Their responsibilities include:

  • Receipt of the QUOD box containing the donor samples following organ retrieval
  • Processing of the QUOD samples
  • Accessing the QUOD database to enter QUOD donor details and the samples collected
  • Arranging transfer of the samples to the QUOD hub in Oxford
